This course will assist participants in supporting their clients with new and uncommon interventions for grief with sensitivity in a non-judgment manner while remaining true to professional standards of practice. Participants will be taught new research coming from the Bigelow Institute of Consciousness Studies on juried essays given to prove the survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death. This information would be used only with clients who are interested in knowing the existence of an afterlife.

Course Objectives

Support clients who may seek new or uncommon interventions for grief with sensitivity in a non-judgmental manner, while remaining true to professional standards of practice

Contemplate the new spiritual research mentioned in the course with healthy skepticism

Contemplate possible benefits as well as drawbacks when clients seek unconventional spirituality-based consultation for assistance with the grieving process
