It is recommended that the word "Ethics" appears in the title of your ethics course.

A minimum of six (6) clock hours of continuing education per renewal period devoted to ethical concerns for practice, assessment, supervision, or research in counseling.

20 CE credit hours required every 2 years - all may be earned with CHI Professional Development, Inc. Those certified must accumulate 20 hours of Continuing Education (20 contact hours) per year with 6 in ethics every other year and 4 in Counselors specific HIV/AIDS also every other year. Renewal is on a quarterly schedule based on initial certification date. Those certified in January, February or March would renew in January. Those certified in April, May, or June would renew in April. Those certified in July, August, or September would renew in July. Those certified in October, November, or December would renew in October.
