NMCTPD requires 6 hours of ethics for all Counselors recertifying, and 3 hours of supervision coursework for all supervisors.
NMCTPD accepts up to 276 hours of our distant learning courses for initial licensure. Please be sure to check Board regulations regarding specific content requirements for initial licensure.

30 CE credit hours required every 2 years - all may be earned with CHI Professional Development, Inc. CHI Professional Development, Inc's distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Social Workers, as set forth by the New Mexico Board of Social Work Examiners.
30 credit hours will be required for each renewal period. Those whose license number ends with an even number have their renewal date in July on even years. Those whose license number ends with an odd number have their renewal date in July on odd years.
